Issue Position

As a teacher of 6 years and a parent of kids in public schools, I've seen what cuts to our budget have done to public education. We spend $1000 less per child now than we did before Governor McDonnell took office. That is unacceptable. Virginia needs to make the smart investment and put more money into our public schools. We know that these investments will pay dividends when our kids enter the workforce. I'll fight to make sure that public schools and teachers get the funding they deserve.
